About Me
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Services from Upper Iowa University on Fort Riley, KS and my Master of Social Work degree with a certificate in Victim and Survivor Services from Washburn University in Topeka, KS.

Over my career I have worked with soldiers, children, adolescents, families, foster parents and young adults. My passion for helping those in needs started when I was first introduced to psychology my sophomore year of high school. I knew then that I was going to be a therapist.

My passion for the field of social work expanded over the years, as I gained experience and confidence in my role. I am a helper at heart and started to broaden the joy of helping through volunteer work and training others in the field.
I hold two state licenses. A Licensed Independent Social Worker Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) Supervisor for South Carolina and a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) for Kansas. I am also an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) working toward being an ADHD Parenting Coach.
I have worked with youth since 2008 and clinically since 2012. I truly believe knowledge is power and advance my own knowledge through various books, articles, and trainings often.
Last but not least, I enjoy traveling. You will find some of my personal photos of places we have traveled to throughout my website.
